Why participate?
Cancer is a global challenge. It is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, affecting millions of lives every year.
For instance, approximately 1 in 3 people in Europe will develop cancer at some point in their lifetime. And, everyone is affected in one way or another.
Cancer knows no borders, no skin color, and does not discriminate by age. We have a vision of beating cancer, and to do so we have to significantly increase our investment in cancer research.
The next breakthrough is within our grasp – it is not a matter of if, but when. But, we need help to make it happen.

Missions and rewards
Once you've started a fundraiser, you will be able to choose between various missions to achieve your rewards:
We would love to see that you:
- are at least 18 years old
- have a channel in good standing with the platform
- embrace positivity and diversity
- follow our code of conduct.
- average 10 CCV in the last 30 days on Twitch or 500 views per YouTube video (last 10 videos).
General FAQ
How will the money that is raised be used?
All funds raised during Play Together Against Cancer will support the work of the Swedish Cancer Society. The money will go to financing leading cancer research in Sweden but also international research.
The Swedish Cancer Society finances research, spreads knowledge about prevention and cancer, provides information and support to those affected by cancer and influence decision-makers.
The goal of the Swedish Cancer society is to beat cancer.
How can I support Play Together Against Cancer?
You can start your own charity stream or support one of your favourite content creators streaming for the initiative.
You will find all active campaigns on Tiltify and can support anyone who has joined the initiative through watching their charity streams online.
To make a donation, use the link and push the donation button. Payments can be made via credit or debit card.
Where can I watch Play Together Against Cancer?

Who can participate?
Anyone over 18 years old can join the initiative, regardless of your channel size or fundraising amount.
Participation is open worldwide, and funds raised support the Swedish Cancer Society and our research financing in Sweden and other parts of the world.
How do I stream?
You can stream on any of the live streaming platforms, such as Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook.

What games can I play?
You can play video games, board games, or fill your stream with any content you find enjoyable!
However, we do not allow the blacklisted games with an ESRB-rating of 'Adults only'. This is to keep the fundraiser as family-friendly as possible.

What can I do during my charity stream?
You decide what to stream and when.
You need to follow our code of conduct while streaming. Chose content that you feel comfortable showing for those who can be affected by cancer.
Streaming content that violates our guidelines will result in your campaign being removed from Play Together Against Cancer.
